Celebrate Freedom: Juneteenth at the Wells' Built
Join us at the Wells' Built Museum of African American History & Culture, as we celebrate our Freedom Day with an evening of spoken word. This event serves as a vehicle to amplify black voices in our community and their artistry, with intentions to create deeper threads of connection. We encourage all to join us as we celebrate the 169th anniversary of Juneteenth. This event offers opportunities to shop from local black owned businesses as we will host food trucks and an open-air, maker’s market.
This event will be held outside and provided seating will be available during the performances that will take place under our big top tent. Public street parking is available, as well as the paid parking in the Geico Garage.
